We have a number of kittens at the shelter who are seeking their new forever homes.
Some of the smaller ones are awaiting their first vaccination and microchip but they will be ready for adoption in the next week or two.
We do have a number of 10-12 week old babies who are ready and waiting to go now.
All kittens range from 6 weeks to 6 months .. they are beautiful ale and females in a variety of colours.

KITTEN is a Black/White female .. Kitten is a gorgeous mumma cat who came to the shelter with 2 sweet 4 week old babies.
Kitten was surrendered to the shelter as her owner could no longer look after her.
Kitten is a very sweet girl and she is a great mum .. she is a placid friendly natured girl.
Kitten and her babies will be available for adoption in approx: 4 weeks ( Mid March) .. this little family will need kind loving homes.

BRISBANE (Alexandra Hills) QUEENSLAND
SUZIE is a 5 week old female white Tabby.
LEVI is a 5 week old black male.
LYNX is a 5 week old black male.
These 3 little babies were dumped in council cages .. they were absolutely riddled with fleas and most likely worms.
They are very skinny and under weight .. one day later they are flea free and de-wormed and doing great.
They are sleeping a lot .. finally able to sleep peacefully without getting eaten alive by the fleas.
They absolutely love their tucker time .. which is regular for the first time in their short sad lives.
They are very adventurous and playful .. these little babies will be available for adoption in approx: 4 weeks ( mid/end February) if all is going well health wise.

LITTLE PANDA (or L.P) is a 5 week old female semi longhair Tortioshell.
This gorgeous Little Princess is a munchkin has been nicknamed L.P Little Panda etc. and her story goes like this.
Kylee and Fay went to a ladies house to help her with an extremely bad problem she has with a large number of feral cats taking over her yard and her house.
Some of these cats have been giving birth on an armchair in her lounge room and anywhere they drop basically.
This particular day we were accessing the problem and during the chaos .. there was a mass scramble of scared cats running all over the place.
At that moment i turned around and here was a mumma Tortioshell standing out in the open trying to get away.
Taking a closer look .. I noticed a tiny little ball of fluff and without thinking just grabbed her.
Well she was not impressed about this .. but we put her straight in a cage and took her off to the vet.
L.P had a bad eye infection which is now all healed up but other than that was in reasonably good health.
She has not looked back since the first day I bought her home .. she climbs absolutely everything nothing too big or too high for this girl.
She jumps on everything and everyone .. she is an independent little girl but the sweetest natured little kitty.
She loves to chase the bigger kittens and play with the other babies in her foster home .. Can you give L.P her first and last loving home.
Little Panda will be available for adoption approx: mid/end January 2010 .. but we are taking enqiries now!
WE NEVER STOP LEARNING:
Whilst you may believe you are doing the right thing it is not good to take kittens off their mum .. we at the shelter have a lot of problems with unweaned babies who are taken off their mum as early as a few days old.
Many of whom do not survive .. so we are capable and have the knowledge to care for these babies as best we know how .. as we do it often.
The situation at this house was absolutely horrible and she would not have stood a chance with her eye infection, and she needed food desparately.
L.P was quite small but she was of the age where she should have been introduced to food .. who knows how long she would have survived if we had not got her when we did.

SAVANNAH is a 6 week old female white/black sweetheart.
KINKY has found a new home!
SAVANNAH and Kinky are 2 beautiful little babies that were dumped at the shelter along with with 11 babies in total.
These 2 babies were the smallest out of the 11 so they stayed at my house for some extra care.
They have been hand fed for a couple of weeks and Savannah and Kinky are going great guns .. they are gorgeous little fatties .. very healthy and happy .. they are just adorable.
Savannah and Kinky are very dependant on their human mum but are becoming more independent by the day.
They love to wrestle with the bigger boys and will chase each other around for hours .. then plonk on the floor exhausted for a nap then do it all over again.
Both Savannah and Kinky like to chase the little dog.

TAILOR is a 10 week old Grey Tabby Male Manx X (has a tail).
These little babies were rescued from a council pound just in time.
Their mum had been put to sleep and they were going to be next.
They are the most adorable kittens .. they are very playful and a little bit naughty .. they are into everything.
They love to climb. Stumpy loves to curl up on your lap.
Tailor is forever sitting on your shoulder as is Jazz.
They are 4 little purring machines.
They are extremely affectionate and like to nibble on your ear if you do not pay them enough attention.
They are getting on fine with the other kitties in care and are living with 2 dogs.

Panda was dumped in council cages with her beautiful little boy.
Panda is a sweet girl with just enough attitude to still be cute and friendly.

JOEY is a 7-8 months old white Tabby .. he has carmed down a lot and is very affectionate.
It still takes him a while to get use to stangers .. but he is doing marvellous.
Joey likes to sleep on the bed with you and keep you company.
He is a little bit of a toe biter and finger biter if you are not patting him enough or paying him enough attention.
He will nibble on your fingers until you scratch him.
If you still ignore him he goes for the toes .. he is absolutely adorable.

SLICK is a 14-16 week old black male Siamese X Oriental
MISSY is a 14-16 week old female light Tabby Siamese X Oriental.
Slick and Missy are brother and sister who were left at a vet surgery in a box .. they are absolutely adorable affectionate kittens.
They love to run a marathon through the house before bed and sleep most of the day.
They love to curl up together on the end of the bed or couch.
They seem to be very dependent on each other .. they are quiet gentle babies who need a special home to call their own.
It would be great to see these 2 babies go to a home together .. as they count on each other for assurance and company.
They live with 2 dogs and whilst they took a couple of days to adjust .. they get on fine with the other cats.
They are inside/outside cats but they prefer to be inside on your bed .. when outside they are in a completely fenced off yard where they cannot get out of .. Can you help these babies find their new family.

KIRBY and MARLO are 2 absolutely adorable little boys .. these 2 beautiful little guys are 5 months old.
They have been hand raised since they were only 1 week old .. Marlo is a big big gorgeous sook .. he will sleep on your foot all day if you let him.
Kirby is more outgoing and thinks he can play/wrestle with the big boys.
Marlo and Kirby both crave human affection .. they are both very mischievous and sometimes naughty .. in a good cute way of cause.
They are drooling .. purring wrestling machines and in need of their new home.
Marlo and Kirby will take over your house and your bed and your heart but you would not want it any other way.
