JASMINE is the pretty female grey Tabby and JOSIE is the Domestic Medium Hair Dark Tabby and White female.
Jasmine and Josie were left in council cages along with another female cat and her 2 babies.
These 2 girls were very hissy when they first arrived at the shelter but they have settled down just fine.
Jasmine and Josie are both still a little timid and will tend to hide if they feel frightened.
They can be uneasy around people until they get to know you but Jasmine and Josie do not mind being held and love a scratch around their head and behind their ears.
Jasmine and Josie are very sweet girls who just need a second chance at a decent life and someone to love and care for them.

GEMMA is a 10 month old Long Hair black female .. she was left at the shelter as her owners were moving and could not take her with them.
This poor little girl does not deserve that but here she is .. Gemma is a lovely little girl .. she is very quiet but very friendly and affectionate.
Gemma is in a large cage with another girl Paris and they have been getting on fine since day one.

MISSY is a 10 month old white female Tortoishell .. Missy was dumped in council after hours cages.
Since Missy's arrival we have been told that she was living in the same home with Angel and her babies and their owners could no longer afford to keep them.
It explains a lot as Missy was very malnourished and flea ridden as were Angel and her babies.
Missy has got a little bit of attitude .. she loves a chat and heaven forbid anyone who ignores her when she has something to say.
We think she is sick of being in a cage and will do all that she can to get you to come to her so she can try and escape .. Missy is just adorable.

ELLA is a 4 year old female Dark Tortoishell .. Ella was bought to the shelter with 2 other female cats and 3 kittens.
Unfortunately at the time we did not have room for all of them .. so we took the 3 babies and Ella because she was pregnant and we organized for the other 2 girls to be placed in foster homes.
Ella is doing extremely well .. she is a very quiet relaxed girl .. she is not a big eater and is settling into the shelter beautifully .. Ella is very affectionate and smoochy.
This girl has had a rough life so far .. can you stop the cycle and give her the love and devotion she so deserves.

LOLA is a 12 month old female Dark Tortioshell .. Lola was dumped in council cages.
Lola had quite a big wound on her back that had become infected but she is almost all healed up and ready to go to her new home.
Lola is just adorable .. she likes to have a bit of a chat when you walk into the cattery and likes to follow you around.
Lola spends most of her time out the back soaking up the sun but as soon as she smells that food coming in she jumps straight up and comes running.
Lola is a sweet girl waiting some what impatiently for her new home .. she can not wait to run around your house and curl up on your couch with you.

MISTY is a beautiful black and Brown female Tortioshell .. Misty was bought to the shelter as an abandoned stray.
Misty is an adorable girl .. just so very gentle and affectionate .. she has unusual undescribable flow of soft colours going on through her fur.
Misty has been well loved at one stage but unfortunately not loved enough .. she is very laid-back and sweet.
Misty is not entirely friendly with the other girls in the catery but she is settling in reasonable well.

ROSIE is a female white Pastel Tortioshell .. dear Rosie was left in council cages with another male cat JAFFA and 6 kittens.
Rosie had a very infected wound on her tail when she came to us but she is on the mend now.
Rosie is a beautiful girl .. extremely friendly and gentle.
Rosie is a very quiet girl .. she does not mind being picked up and loves a cuddle.
Rosie and Jaffa get along great but we are unsure if she gets along with other cats at this stage as she is still in her cage being treated for her wound.
She is such a sweetheart with not a bad bone in her body .. we do not think she will have any problems there.

NELL is a female Black Beauty .. she was left in council after hours cages.
Nell is a very quiet relaxed girl .. she is very lazy and loves nothing more than to curl up in her hammock out the back in the sun and sleep the day away.
She likes humans very much and loves food time .. as with any cat she has her occasional bad day but we just leave her in peace for a while and she is fine.
If you are looking for a lounge lizard as a companion then Nell is your girl.

ELEKTRA is a 2-3 year old Black female .. Elektra was caught in a council trap.
Elektra is a lovely girl but has a slight attitude .. if she is not in the mood for pats or cuddles she will let you know .. nicely but if you push the issue she will definitely get her point across in a more matter of fact way.
She is a sweet girl who is a bit of a loner .. Elektra likes her food and likes to wonder out in the sun every now and then for a nap but then goes straight back to her special spot.

GEM is a 2 year old female Tortoishell .. Gem was adopted from the shelter in July/August.
Unfortunately she has been returned to us due to a slightly bad habit .. her owner has told us Gem has been eating all her geckos and mice etc; which she was not impressed with.
Gem has been known to have bad days and can be a bit grumpy .. Gem has been taught to walk on a harness but has been kept inside which she apparently did not like much.
Gem needs room to run and be free but also kept out of reach of small creatures .. she is a lovely girl who needs a second chance.
Gem will be best suited to a farm/property where geckos and mice etc; are suppose to be todays lunch not todays problem .. Gem was only doing what comes naturely.

MOCHA is a 18 month old centare female .. Mocha was caught in a council trap.
Mocha was already micro chipped but unfortunately we have been unable to track down her owner as the details on the chip are to Kingaroy.
Mocha is a beautiful girl .. she is very friendly and not at all concerned with the other girls around her .. she spends a lot of time sitting on the window sill or on the highest step looking out across the hill.
She is a sweet natured girl and she will absolutely talk your ear off for attention .. she is not a cat who likes to be confined but she is starting to realise that unfortunately this will be her home for the time being.

NINA is a 6 year old black Smoke/white female .. Nina was dumped in council cages as an abandoned stray.
Nina's arrival at the shelter was smooth sailing for her .. she settled in almost immediately .. although she did have a problem with there being no humans around her constantly.
She loves her servants very much and did not mind showing us .. she liked to have a bit of a talk but not so much now.
Nina is a gentle soul with plenty of love left to give the right person.

GYPSY is a 10 month old black female X .. she was very food orientated so we started hand feeding her roo meat and slipping in some pats on the head while she was distracted with her food.
Gypsy is now ready and waiting for that very special person to take her into their hearts .. she has escaped certain death 3 times now and really needs to be shown what it is to be loved and cared for.
Gypsy was caught in a council trap and was so wild we could not even get near her to see if she was male/female .. the council decided there was only one thing for our little feral .. but of course Gypsy had other ideas and on 7th of October gave birth to 5 little beauties.
We were then told the babies would turn feral like their mum and they should all be put to sleep with her .. but we came to the decision she and her babies deserved a chance .. Gypsy was extremely protective of her babies.
When the babies were 4 weeks we gave them a bigger cage to run around in and this is when we saw a turn-around in Gypsy .. fast forward a few weeks and we can now pick her up .. medicate her and are no longer worried about being bitten or scratched .. her babies have now all been re-homed and Gypsy will be de-sexed this week and ready for adoption.

KIM is a lovely gentle female Senior White/Tortioshell .. Kim was found wondering and taken to a local vet.
Her owners dic not come looking for her .. Kim is a very sweet old girl.
She is very laid-back and placid .. Kim has settled into the cattery reasonably well but she does not particularly like to socialise with the other girls.
She is happy for now to relax in her hammock and have her food delivered in a special bowl of her own.
Please if you can help Kim find a new lasting home in her twilight years with love and comfort .. do not hesitate to come and see Kim at the shelter.

JAGUAR is a 5 year old Tabby female .. Jaguar was returned to the shelter after originally being adopted from us as a kitten.
He owner spun the usual story .. but bottom line is poor Jag is back with us and very scared.
She was forever digging her way under her bedding and hiding out all day in the heat the poor girl.
We put in a big house for her to hide but that allows the cool to get in .. she is a lot more comfortable and relaxed and likes to pop out for a cuddle.
Jaguar even has a bit of a chat at the door if you walk by her without stopping to give her a pat.
Jaguar is a sweet thing who very much needs a decent home to live with lots of love and cuddles. Please help Jag find her new family.

SASSY is a 12 month old Domestic Medium Hair Black female .. Sassy was dumped in council cages.
Sassy is a girl with attitude but she is a dear little girl .. although a little grumpy .. she was sweet.
She has slowly become quite the grouch .. Sassy has had a few problems since being put in the cattery.
She had been picked on a bit by some of the other girls and has decided life is simpler to sit in a corner by herself and hiss whenever anyone comes near her.
It is very sad to see such an affectionate sweet girl become so scared and withdrawn.
Please if you can help Sassy with a new loving family .. you will not regret it.

Zoe is a beautiful girl .. if you run your hand backwards up her back the hair underneath is pure white but you would not know it to look at her.
Zoe is very unsure of her new surroundings but is not very human friendly .. she knows when she see us coming it can only be something good.
Zoe nearly does herself an injury trying to get to you for a cuddle .. she is a very loving girl and is in need of some very special family/person that can give her the love and security she needs.

She was a bit beaten up and had a bit of bark missing off her head.
Violet was a little upset and we think she was caught in a trap which is terribly fightening for any pet.
She has settled in fine and is waiting for her new family .. Violet is a very sweet loving girl.

SERENA is a 12 month old Black female .. Serena was dumped in council cages with another adult female who has since found a new home.
Serena is a beautiful placid natured girl .. she is very friendly with both humans and other cats.
When Serena first came in we would let her out of her cage whilst it was being cleaned and she would run around trying to play with the kittens who were also having some time out running around.
She has a blast playing with the other cats .. she is still just a big kitten at heart.
You could not ask for a sweeter more relaxed friendly cat than our Serena .. Please give her a chance to prove it.

GYPSY is a 7 month old (4th October 2008) female white Tabby and BAILEY is a 7 month old (4th October 2008) male grey/white Tabby.
Hi my name is Bailey and my sister is Gypsy and we are very special kitties .. our Mum was bought into the shelter very heavily pregnant .. after being taken in as a stray she was living with 8 other very mean cats.
She was placed in a nice foster home where she was loved and cared for while she waited for us 5 babies to come along.
Our mum was a very good mum and cared for us until we were 7-8 weeks old .. then we were split up and went to carers because our mum had Feline Aids and became very aggressive so she had to leave us.
Then we were sent off to see the man who helped mum and tested us for Feline Aids .. my sister was negative the man said .. but I was positive.
My new foster mum Kylee fortunately for me would not let anything bad happen to me as she loved me too much and bought me home with my sister.
I will live a normal long life if I am kept healthy and stay inside .. Kylee says I need a very special understanding caring person to give me and my sister a new home.
If you think you might be able to love me and my sister come and visit us 'cause we are gorgeous and we really want our own new family that will love us unconditionally.

PRINCESS is a Tabby female .. I have to say Princess has a major attitude problem and as usual this does not bother me .. I think it is part of her personality.
We know that side of her so we leave her be .. Princess and her owner did not have this agreement from the first day and princess had one over on her.
If she did not like something or just for no reason she would have a go at the lady .. Princess is a sweet girl for the most part .. she likes being patted but not picked up.
Princess will put up with being brushed for a short time but soon lets you know when she has had enough .. Princess has her boundaries and needs a home with understanding of her mood swings.
She really is a beautiful girl and I just love her and want nothing more than to see her settled in a new home for good this time.
