MAFIA is a beautiful 2 year old female Grey born 18th February 2010.
Mafia had a bit of a rough time in her past .. she came to us as an abandoned stray.
She was suffering with a unpleasant flea allergy which was vet treated immediately and has almost totally cleared up.
Mafia is the dearest sweet girl .. loves to play and lives for human love and attention.
Mafia is a little spirited .. she is friendly .. but does not like the other girls in her space.
She comes running when you enter the room for a cuddle and pat.
Since being with us she has waited patiently for love to find her and take her hope .. she will be happy in most any calm kind environment.
Mafia was microchipped and the owner said she would be in to collect her but of course that never happened.
1 month before Mafia was found and bought to the shelter .. her sister Safari can to us and was also not picked up.

NELL is a female Black Beauty .. she was left in council after hours cages.
Nell is a very quiet relaxed girl .. she is very lazy and loves nothing more than to curl up in her hammock out the back in the sun and sleep the day away.
She likes humans very much and loves food time .. as with any cat she has her occasional bad day but we just leave her in peace for a while and she is fine.
If you are looking for a lounge lizard as a companion then Nell is your girl.

PENNY was surrendered to the shelter after being taken to a local vet.
She is a quiet girl but does not like other cats .. Penny loves a good scratch but will soon let you know when she has had enough.
Penny just needs more time to settle in and get into a comfort zone where she is not so bothered by the other cats.

POSSUM is a Black/White Tuxedo female born 1st May 2006.
She is a quiet .. relaxed girl and wants nothing more than to laze about in the sun.
Possum likes to have a little roll in the dirt then go back off to her special spot to keep an eye on the days goings on.
She can be a bit chatty when you enter the cattery to get your attention when she wants a pat.
Possum is not a high maintenance girl .. she appreciates the simple quiet life with lots of love and good food and a spot to curl up in and chill out.

ABBY is a Grey Tabby female born 1st December 2006 .. she came to the Shelter as a stray.
Understandable she was not claimed as she was not looked after very well.
Abby had quite a bad skin allergy which as the photos show was very simply treated with good food and flea control and vet treatment.
She is a reserved girl .. Abby loves a pat behind her ears and will roll over for a pat but she is still very wary of people.
Abby LOVES her food .. she has decided to be a little bit fussy which with a cat who almost inhales her food .. when she goes off her food we notice.
Abby is a very quiet .. laid back girl but will need to be placed in a home with a caring understanding person with patience.
No small children .. she is probably not suited as a family pet but more a companion friend for a retired person/couple or old family.
Abby needs space and to be allowed to do her own thing .. Abby is an inside cat ONLY.

She is a kitten at heart .. Alexis is very playful when the mood suits her .. she is seeking a new family to spend her days with.

ANNABELL is a Tortioshell/White feemale born 5th April 2009 .. Gorgeous Annabell came to us in April as a stray with 5 tiny 1 day old babies.
She is a very smoochy girl .. likes to curl herself around your leg and have a chat when she wants attention.
She will usually come running when called .. Annabell is a big kitten at heart and loves to play and wrestle .. but please know she can get very over excited and become a bit too rough when playing.
Annabell is a delightful friendly girl .. she is never been vicious at all but her teeth are still sharp.
Annabell is relaxed and friendly with the other girls at the cattery and she is waiting for a family of her own with older children to play with.

POLLY is a Chocolate Point female born 3rd September 2010.
She is quite scared of strangers when she first meets them but would definitely calm down once in a new environment with her new owner.
Polly is a big sook and once she gets to know you she will be sharing your bed and her affection til her last day.
PIPER is Chocolate Point Cross Siamese female born 21st November 2010.
Piper is a very affectionate girl .. independent little Miss but loves to jump in bed and have a good scruff and play and then settle down for a nap.
For the most part Piper tends to do her own thing but come night time Polly will be all yours.
Polly and Piper are 2 sweet little girls desperately in need of a new home .. neither Polly or Piper like to be held or picked up very much but are affectionate just the same.
Now the reason we are desperate to get these girls into a home together ASAP .. both these beauties have shown a positive for Feline Leukemia and will not see them put to sleep.
We cannot guarantee their life span .. it could be a month .. 6 months or if kept indoors or in a cat enclosure (as they are now) and healthy and away from any sort of infections .. they could very well live a normal 10-15 years old.
Please if you can give these 2 girls a forever home with lots of love and have NO other cats please come and see them.
You will be doing them the greatest act of kindness .. Piper and Polly due to their status must be rehomed together .. Adoption Fee is Negotiable!

BELLA is a 5 year old female Grey Tabby/White (Born 2006).
Bella was surrendered to the shelter by her elderly as they could not care for her any longer.
She is a very independent girl .. Bella likes to be patted but is not much of a big cuddle pot.
She loves her food time and she has her own separate bowls as Bella thinks she is a little bit more important than the other cats.
Bella is nice cat but will be more suited to an older person who will just leave her be to come for attention when she wants it.
We do not know what Bella was like before she came to us .. perhaps she is just unsettled and sometimes a bit grumpy because she does not like her new surroundings.
Bella will be a lovely companion to that someone special if given the chance to show she can find love again.

SCARLET is a black 4 year old female .. she is a very affectionate girl and is a little gem.
Scarlet is a very quiet placid girl who loves her food more than anything .. she especially loves her roast chicken treats.
Scarlet has lived with a small dog and has been around children .. she is waiting for a new family to love.
Scarlet was surrendered to the shelter with her house mate .. a small dog when their owner became very ill and was unable to care for them.

Isabelle is easy going very friendly and lives for her tucker time and that special time in the morning when she knows she will get her one on one cuddle time.
She is a bit of a queen .. Isabelle keeps her distance from the other cats as she prefers her own space.
She lays back in her bed and watches over the world .. Isabelle will be a great companion for that special family.

SAFARI is a gorgeous 2 year old female Grey lady born 18th February 2010.
This girl has been through a pretty sad time .. Safari came to the shelter as a supposedly stray.
It turns out she was microchipped but the owner made excuses why she was there and never came to get her.
Safari is a very sweet girl .. she is very playful and craves for human affection.
She is very laid back and likes to curl up on her bed.
Safari will wonder outside for a sunbake and likes to wait for you to come to her and have cuddles.
Since being in the shelter .. Safari has shown an adorable side that any family would enjoy to have in their home.

HONEY is a Tabby female born 1st December 2008.
She came to the shelter as a stray with 6 cute 3 week old kittens.
Honey was a very relaxed mum and took on a 3 day old kitten as one of her own .. she fed and looked after it as one of her own.
All of Honey's kittens have been rehomed now and with that responsibility lifted so now it is her turn to find love.
She has turned into a beautiful puss that LOVES her food and a big play.
Honey would quickly fit into a family who can provide her with a forever home where Honey will reward you with lots of cuddles.

PRINCESS is a Tabby female .. I have to say Princess has a major attitude problem and as usual this does not bother me .. I think it is part of her personality.
We know that side of her so we leave her be .. Princess and her owner did not have this agreement from the first day and princess had one over on her.
If she did not like something or just for no reason she would have a go at the lady .. Princess is a sweet girl for the most part .. she likes being patted but not picked up.
Princess will put up with being brushed for a short time but soon lets you know when she has had enough .. Princess has her boundaries and needs a home with understanding of her mood swings.
She really is a beautiful girl and I just love her and want nothing more than to see her settled in a new home for good this time.

GRACE is a 8 year old female Grey Tabby/Tortioshell born 1st December 2003.
Gorgeous Grace is one of our older girls who has been bought to the shelter as a stray cat.
She is a placid natured girl and loves a good head massage.
While Puss is 8 years old it is not exactly old in a cats life .. health wise she is fine.
Gracie looks to me like a very sad old cat with too many bad stories to tell .. that is until you give her a good head scratch and her little mouth turns up and her eyes brighten in appreciation.
Grace is a little unsettled in the cattery .. we are hoping for a caring peaceful home for our dear girl to laze away her days in comfort.

CINDY is a female Ginger Tabby .. Mumma Cindy came to the Shelter as a stray with her kittens .. all her kittens are safely rehomed.
Cindy is a friendly girl and loves a pat and will be your best friend when that tasty food comes around.
Beautiful Mumma Cindy took on little Baby Sunshine as her own when she was just 3 weeks old and has been doing a great job as her mum.

TILLY is a 12 month old female white Tortoishell .. she came to us a stray from a local vet .. NO owner came forward to claim her.
Tilly was very thin when she arrived possibly she was wandering for a while or underfed, who knows.
Now a days though she is a little porker .. looking healthy and happy and has been getting friendly with some of the other cats .. Tilly is a relaxed girl .. she spends her days chilling on her hammock and eating her favourite food.
Tilly gets along with some of the friendlier young girls but not all cats .. Tilly has been with us for almost a year and is patiently waiting to join that special family.

SMOKEY is very pretty 3 year old female grey Tabby/White (Born 2008) .. Smokey was adopted from the shelter 3 years ago .. she has been returned to us as she is not getting along with the other cat in the house.

ALLY is a lovely grey 2 year old female (Born 2009).
Ally is the sister to Mikey who we have had at the shelter since they were 8 weeks old.
They were very feisty babies but we could not see anything bad happen to them .. a lovely lady did adopt Ally as a special case to help with her socialisation and Ally did great.
Ally loved the dog and even adjusted to the small children .. unfortunately the other cat in the house was quite nasty and Ally came home to PAA to try and find her perfect home.
Although Ally is not an overly friendly or affectionate cat she absolutely loves her feline friends and is especially attached to Serena .. they are best of friends.
Ally will live at the shelter forever unless we can find an understanding person/couple to open their heart and their home to both Ally and Serena .. knowing she will not be a friendly family pet.
