TABU is a male Black Semi Longhair .. Tabu was dumped in our after hours cages .. this lovely boy is very shy around the other boys in the cattery but is not bothered by them .. he is a placid natured big ball of fluff.
Tabu is quite a loner and likes to curl up in his favourite spot for his time away from the others .. he does have a couple of younger cats who love to curl up with him .. Tabu is very cuddly and loves to kick back in your arms for a belly rub.

JESSIE is 17 month old Tortishelle female .. Jessie has been at the shelter for such .. no-one having claimed her .. she is an adorable girl and loves her scratches and cuddles.
Jessie stays out the back of the cattery most of the time .. but comes running whenever anybody enters the front gate .. she gets along wonderfully with the other cats and desperately needs a new home to call her own.

Jessie has been with us since 20th October 2008 and is still waiting patiently for her new family to come along .. whilst Jessie is still a beautiful girl she has become a bit of a horror.
Jessie has got a lot of attitude and a bit of a cranky girl .. Jessie absolutely loves attention and still loves her scratches .. she no longer likes to be held or picked up and she will only tolerate a pat for so long before she bites.
Jessie no longer hides as she owns the cattery and takes centre stage in the middle on top of her scratch post and swats away anyone she does not want there.
A lot of people might be turned off by this including most of the volunteers.
I am used to my own cats attitude so it does not bother me that she bites but she has the other volunteers scared .. they know Jessie is the boss and they steer clear.
Jessie can get cranky if you keep on at her when she does not want affection .. but it is not at all vicious .. just a warning that she has had enough.
I believe Jessie has had enough of the shelter which I understand completely and all the cats coming and going.
Please if you have experience with cranky girls and some understanding and patience to give this gorgeous girl, give her a chance at a happy life.
Jessie is a little fatty with bright bright soft fur. I absolutely love this girl and it saddens me to see her still here. Jessie will go for a donation to the right home.

SAMMY is a 12 month old Tabby/White male .. Sammy was left in our after hours cages and not claimed .. Sammy is the sweetest little man .. he is very affectionate and smoochy but is not entirely happy to be picked up.
He gets along with the other boys and is not fazed by any new arrivals and he also seems to like young children .. Sammy would make a wonderful new addition to any young family.
LEVI is a 8 month old male Champagne .. this sweet little man was picked up off the street by one of our volunteers .. he had been hit by a car and left to die .. he spent quite a few days at the vet but luckily there was no major damage.
Levi is a very affectionate boy but unfortunately he is becoming very depressed in the cattery and desperately needs to find a loving quiet home with someone that has time to give him one on one attention until he feels loved .. save and secure with humans.
Sammy and Leviare best of friends and love to wrestle in the sun out the back and chase each other all round the cattery.

THUMPER is a 5 month old White/Tabby male .. he has been in foster care since he was 5-6 weeks old after being found on a path way near a neighbours house.
Thumper was a very sad scrappy looking little boy .. whilst he had a few problems early on he is absolutely marvellous now.
Thumper is a little timid around strangers and likes to play hide and seek when someone comes but he does eventually come out for a sticky beak.
He is a energetic adventurous boy .. he does go outside in the yard but spends a lot of his time during the day inside curled up on someone's bed.
Thumper will need a reasonably quiet home as he is easily startled .. Thumper has huge feet for a young cat so he is going to be a fair size boy.

DIESEL is a male white and black beauty .. we are unsure of his age due to the poor condition he is in .. poor Diesel needs a safe loving home with all the love and affection he can get.
Unfortunately Diesel had cancer on his ears but the good news is Diesel has had successful surgery and luckily only has the tips of both his ears missing.
Diesel is doing extremely well and is currently recuperating in foster care .. Diesel is now patiently waiting for that special someone to come and offer him his last permanent forever home.

GYPSY is a 7 month old (4th October 2008) female White/Tabby and BAILEY is a male Grey/White Tabby.
Hi my name is Bailey and my sister Gypsy and I are very special kitties .. our mum was bought into the shelter very heavily pregnant .. after being taken in as a stray she was living with 8 other very mean cats.
She was placed in a nice foster home where she was loved and cared for while she waited for us 5 babies to come along .. our mum was a very good mum and cared for us until we were 7-8 weeks old .. then we were split up and went to carers because our mum had Feline Aids and became very aggressive so she had to leave us.
Lovely people came and took my other 3 brothers and my other sister .. mean while we stayed with our foster family Kylee while we were getting prepared for adoption.
I loved life with my family but my sister was a very scared and timid as our cat mum had hurt her a lot .. we enjoyed going outside and playing with all the other cats in the house and sneaking on the bed at night where it was warm.
Then we were sent off to see the man who helped mum and tested us for Feline Aids .. my sister was negative the man said .. but I was positive .. my new foster mum Kylee could not believe it .. fortunately for me she would not let anything bad happen to me as she loved me too much and bought me home with my sister.
I will live a normal long life if I am kept healthy and stay inside .. Kylee says I need a very special understanding caring person to give me and my sister a new home.
She has warned me that no one will want me if I do not stop biting peoples feet while they are sleeping (I think this is a fun game and I only do it when I want some extra attention).
If you think you might be able to love me and my sister come and visit us 'cause we are gorgeous and we really want our own new family that will love us unconditionally.

MICKY and COOKIE are two beautiful 2 year old Oriental X Cats needing a very loving and calm home together .. they will take a bit of time to get use to a new environment .. they are a little timid and were very loved in a home with a older lady .. then she became ill and could no longer take care of them.
When they came to us poor Cookie was pregnant .. so this has delayed them getting a new home .. the kittens have been rehomed and now Micky and Cookie are wanting there forever home.

GIZMO is a 2 year old Black male .. Gizmo was dumped in council cages with a seriously infected wound on his leg .. we are still treating his leg and are hoping he gets the all clear towards the end of May.
His sore leg was left for so long initial vet reports were to amputate the leg .. as the wound is healing very nicely we are hoping this will not be the case .. you will not find a bigger sook than this boy .. he is absolutely adorable.
He is loving all the attention from the volunteers and can't get enough cuddles .. he is happy to be held and loves a scratch down his back .. he loves to talk when you are being to slow with his food but mostly he is happy just to chill out and sleep.

GYPSY is a 10 month old black female X .. she was very food orientated so we started hand feeding her roo meat and slipping in some pats on the head while she was distracted with her food.
Gypsy is now ready and waiting for that very special person to take her into their hearts .. she has escaped certain death 3 times now and really needs to be shown what it is to be loved and cared for.
Gypsy was caught in a council trap and was so wild we could not even get near her to see if she was male/female .. the council decided there was only one thing for our little feral .. but of course Gypsy had other ideas and on 7th of October gave birth to 5 little beauties.
We were then told the babies would turn feral like their mum and they should all be put to sleep with her .. but we came to the decision she and her babies deserved a chance .. Gypsy was extremely protective of her babies.
When the babies were 4 weeks we gave them a bigger cage to run around in and this is when we saw a turn-around in Gypsy .. fast forward a few weeks and we can now pick her up .. medicate her and are no longer worried about being bitten or scratched .. her babies have now all been re-homed and Gypsy will be de-sexed this week and ready for adoption.

Luckily Basil has calmed down a lot in the weeks he has been with us .. whilst he is not perfect .. given the chance Basil will come around more and more once he is in a safe loving environment .. he really is a sweetie he just doesn't always like to show it .. he likes to keep us on our toes.

Meeka is so very quiet and a little reserved .. she loves all the other kittens and all she wants is someone to curl up with .. Meeka is currently being cared for by carers as she has been very sick .. Meeka spent 2 weeks with the vet to be monitored and has now got the all clear.

Sonny is a little rascal at times but one look into those big beautiful eyes and all is forgiven .. he is very playful and energetic and loves to climb trees and wrestle with ROCKET.
Sonny can often be found curled up on a bed a sleep or under under the covers in the warm .. he does tend to climb your legs if he wants what we have got .. Sonny is also quiet reliant on people so he will need to got o a home where there is someone home a most of the time.

CHICKY is a 12 month old SLH Tabby female .. Chicky came to us as a stray .. when she first arrived Chicky would not eat or drink anything for close to a week.
After tring everything from normal cat food to roast pork .. beef and roo meat until we got her eating chicken warmed in the microwave of course.
What a fussy girl she was .. Chicky was very confused and sad but she is doing wonderfully now and eating normally .. she is a very relaxed cat and is not bothered by any of the other cats.
She is a smoochy girl who is in need of lots of human lovin .. Chicky will make a great addition to your family if you give her the chance.

These 2 little darling 6-7 month old kittens were dumped in our after hours cages .. they are so very timid .. it is very sad to see these babies hiding away .. cowering when approached .. though they will happily put up with being loved by the volunteers.
Louise and Thelma are really starting to come out of their shell and their hiding holes .. they are still very scared of most people but in time they will be just fine.
These kittens are so desperately in need of someone kind and gentle to show them love and how a cat should be treated .. PAA believe in the lap of luxury with all the cuddles a cat can handle.

AMBER and GEMMA are 2 female 3 year old Tabby and White X .. these 2 beautiful girls were dumped in council cages along with there belongings.
Amber and Gemma are 2 adorable sweethearts .. they have the sweetest nature and are very placid and quiet .. they both love to cuddle up together .. Amber and Gemma have just been desexed and vaccinated so they are still in care until their stitches come out.
They love human contact and lots of affection and cuddles .. we would like these 2 beauties to go together as they have not been apart.

Diego .. Tipsy .. Indy .. Buffy and Sapphire are just adorable .. they were left at a pet shop but were then sent them to a vet and they are now being cared for by carers.
These babies are quite scared because they were taken off their mumma far too early .. they will come around after some much needed Tender Loving Care.

MINTY and ALASKA are brother and sister born 23rd November 2008 .. they love to play chase through the house and love climbing trees .. Minty and Alaska are inside/outside cats and have lived with a Staffy dog.
MINTY is very outgoing and affectionate .. she loves kids and will curl up in their arms and go off to sleep.
ALASKA is a shy gentle girl but she really loves her cuddle time at night.

These beautiful 3 1/2 weeks old babies are;

TEMPY (Black/Grey Female)
ROSIE (Dark Tabby Female).
Booth .. Tempy and Rosie are being hand raised by carers .. these babies were found under a ladies car and mumma puss was nowhere to be found.
They are just lovely little bubs who love a wrestle and curl up in the warmest spot on your neck for a cuddle and sleep.

OSCAR is a handsome 4 year old male who needs a loving new owner.
He is gentle and cautious by nature but affectionate once he warms to you .. he loves other cats and being indoors or outdoors as long as there is a cosy place to come home and snuggle up at night.
Oscar requires premium cat food and lots of Tender Loving Care as he has always had regular flea control and vet checks etc. .. he is de-sexed and micro-chipped and his full vet history is available .. PLEASE consider helping us to re-home this dear boy into a loving home.
