Moreton Bay Regional Council $10 Microchipping Day 2009 Moreton Bay Regional Council had another day for $10 Microchipping on the 5th of July 2009. Lots of people thought it was a great idea .. Paa was invited along to do a sausage sizzle .. we met up with some of our previous shelter dogs and that sure topped off our day. Jane and Les helped us on the day with the sausage sizzle .. Great work guys. Les and Jane Roll Up! Roll Up! A 3 course meal for a shilling .. the bread .. the snag and the sause .. Come On Roll Up!! This little sweetheart is Sam .. Dot adopted him from us only recently and they are extremely happy together .. Another happy ending! This is JACK .. he was a shelter dog about 2 years ago and what a happy chappy he is now .. when he was with us he could hardly walk 'cause he was sooo over weight but now he is a different dog .. Thanks Lynda for all your time and love. Cassidy is a Beagle X that was adopted from the shelter 9 years ago .. he is a happy well balanced boy .. it was so lovely to see him again. PAA Million Paws Walk Another wonderful successful day for the Million Paws Walk 2009 .. what a wonderful day for the 2009 Million paws walk .. along our beautiful foreshore of the Redcliffe Peninsula .. fun was had by all .. taking our pooches out walking for a cause. This is Jessie .. she is 12 years old and was adopted from PAA when she was 6 months old .. this is a lovely Success Story so nice to see .. Jess did the walk today. These are the wonderful girls from Northside Vet Surgery doing $10 microchipping for the day .. they worked flat out encouraging responsible ownership. Leanne and Martin from Mars Pet grooming and Mavlab always supporting Paa .. Thanks it was a great day for the animals. Aussie Pooch Mobile Dog Wash came to support the Paws Walk! Our wonderful supporters Annette and Jack {Ruski} came along to see his old friends at PAA .. were he is very much loved .. Big Thank you for always helping us! Hi To All at Peninsula Animal Aid We were so glad to catch up at the Paws Walk on Sunday 17th May 2009 .. it was great to see so many dogs and their human friends enjoying a day out. Jewel loved seeing the volunteers that helped her so much in her hour of need and I hope the volunteers felt a sense of pride seeing how their work changes lives. Watching how well Jewel has settled into family life and seeing how much she loves the boys and how happy she is in her new life .. we are certainly glad to have her as an important part of our family's life .. she has given us more than we could have ever imagined .. that is as they say .. another story .. stay tuned! Kind regards Janine .. the Boys and Jewel Well what a successful day for the Million Paws Walk 2008 .. the weather was fine but windy on our beautiful Redcliffe foreshore .. all the animal lovers came out in force .. it was just wonderful to see .. we had 350 to 380 dogs on the walk and just could not count how many people .. a good day was had by all .. we had prizes galore thanks to the many wonderful donations from loyal supporters .. we saw many familiar faces in the doggie world .. just so many of our beloved canines that we had helped find loving homes .. the whisper from many was that they could not beleive such beautiful companion pets were disposed of and left at pounds .. surrendered or abandoned .. but luckily rescued by Peninsula Animal Aid's shelter .. as volunteers this is what we work hard to achieve .. finding a new begining for our dogs and cats in safe loving homes .. This one of our dedicated volunteers Yvonne with Jack .. he has been with us for 2 years he really enjoyed himself on walk today. This is the biggest dog Easy the Great Dane and the smallest dog Chilli. Boof was an ex pound puppy who was lovingly adopted. This is Harley he went with a volunteer on the Paws Walk .. what a day he had these poor dogs are so different when away from shelter .. their personality lights up around people .. he will be suh a great family dog .. Harley just loved the children. This one cute photo .. this little Staffy girl wanted to be served .. Hey ladies me next! This is a real success story .. this beautiful boy lived at shelter for 2 years .. his name is Kojack .. he has been in his new home now 18 months and he has come to the Paws Walk for the last 2 years .. we always have a tear in our eyes to see him so happy with not a problem in the world.
