It is in the breed .. the Staffy is the most loving affectionate family dog .. the male is the territorial pet and the female is the possessive protector which is a great combination and that is why male and female are generally fine together. Beauty is so loving and obedient .. she has the most loving nature gentle and would be the perfect pet if you worked from home or retired as she hates being alone. Skipper has no patience with children .. but who knows or could guess his story .. he will still nip you and needs training with this problem. Skipper is a gentle lad but something had happened to make him still feel he has to protect himself. We have seen this problem before and it can be changed with lots of love and a kind firm hand using the treat system. Skipper must be allowed inside and be an active member of your family .. he will soon learn to love and trust you. Trevor is a very loveable boy but will need a firm but loving owner .. he can be very selective in the doggy world. He seems to love the company of larger breed dogs otherwise he can be too dominant. Trevor needs an older family who like to go on daily walkies and have secure 6 foot fences. Ozzie gets on so well with our dogs both large and small dogs and male and female dogs. He has been very patient and quiet .. no barking .. Ozzie was very well behaved at Kroll Park and was very well mannered with other dogs at the park on and off the leash. He loves his food .. Ozzie is a very inquisitive boy and loves affection .. he will be such a good friend to his new parents. Aussie seems comfortable around children .. this morning I took her to Sandgate for a walk at lowtide .. I kept her on the lead and a few dogs came up to her. While she was a little unsure of them she was not at all aggressive .. she loves people and is very energetic. I also let her off the leash in the dog park at Sandgate to play fetch and she did not seem overly concerned with the other dogs. Zoot has been rescued from a situation where he was tied up in back yard and muzzled so he would not make a noise. Zoot is only looking forward now .. just a big pup learning a little bit everyday .. he has just been desexed and is mixing with a few dogs and learning to lead properly on the lead .. this is a vast improvement. Zoot will suit an older family that does not have young children .. he is far too excitable .. he will be a nice boy with time and exercise. Zoot is learning about love and humans .. this will help him to trust and respond to cuddles .. this boy is learning fast .. Zoot will be a wonderful pet.
